A Cricket news blog created and written by Daniel Hunter; a first year Multimedia Journalism student at Manchester Metropolitan University. Originally from Sunderland, England. As an avid Cricket fan I have played for a number of years at my local club; Boldon CC representing both junior and senior teams. I have also watched cricket for a number of years, seeing England play in all three formats of the game (Test Match, ODI and T20) at my local county cricket ground, Emirates Riverside, home to Durham CCC. I have also travelled to the home of cricket, Lord’s, to see Durham win the Royal London One Day Cup.

This particular blog will cover all things Cricket. There will be interviews with former County Cricketers as well as reviews of experiences at various Cricket grounds. There will also be up to date news and information as England travel to Sri Lanka and the Caribbean for their Winter Tour 2018/2019. The blog will also have a focus on the jam packed summer of Cricket in 2019; which sees England host the Cricket World Cup and also host Australia in the historic Ashes test series.
